Advent is a time of waiting and preparation for Christmas. In the four weeks leading up to Christmas we think about the great gift that God made to us in the birth of his Son Jesus. We say our prayers and commit ourselves to acts of loving kindness to others. This helps us to be ready to meet Jesus when he is born again in our hearts on Christmas Day.
